The Southern African Association of Geomorphologists (SAAG) is pleased to announce that nominations for Fellowships of the Association are open. A Fellowship of the Association is the highest honour that SAAG can bestow upon a geomorphologist, with Fellows becoming Honorary Life Members of the Association. Fellowships will be awarded on 17 September during the conference dinner of our upcoming Biennial Conference.
Who can Nominate?
Any member may nominate any person for the award of a Fellowship.
Who can be Nominated?
The nominee must:
- Be a practicing member of SAAG;
- Have been active in geomorphological research, consulting and/or teaching for at least ten (10) years; and
- Through his or her work, have contributed to South African and/or international geomorphology which is recognised nationally.
How to Nominate
When nominating for Fellows, please ensure you have:
- A motivation that includes the nominee's accomplishments, records of achievement, and contribution to SAAG and the discipline; and
- Someone to second your nomination.
