It’s El here - I’m excited to be reaching out to you today with bright summer wishes and some brilliant news.
Radiant Mama applied for support from the National Lottery Fund again in early summer, and we have just received news that our application has been successful! We are delighted with what this means regarding our capacity to continue to deliver and grow the services we offer.
An initial glimpse into what the funding will support over the coming weeks and months…
Our weekly groups will be able to offer reduced rate or fully funded places where needed come autumn.
Olivia is running a Love & Life After Birth day retreat on August 10th in Dartington, which can now offer a reduced rates or fully funded places.
We can now develop our Counselling and Therapeutic Support Service for the community of parents and parents-to-be with donation and low-cost options
As well as our existing offerings, we will soon be offering community care days and wellbeing retreats for solo parents.
There are other pieces in the pipe line, and in mid-August we will be sharing in more depth about our autumn programme.

In other news, I’ve been offered an exciting new job serving the Transition Town movement which means I will be stepping away from my support role within Radiant Mama in mid August. It’s hard to believe I’ve been supporting the organisation and community for seven months now. It’s been such a lovely journey and a great honour to be able to work alongside and get to know so many inspiring people in the network.
