Second Call for Sponsors for Pollinator Anthology!

Wow. With more than 65 artists and writers submitting more than 340 pieces, the published Pollinator Anthology is now an almost 300 page, soft cover, full color book, almost three times the original idea! Seeing an almost three times increase in cost, we are inviting additonal sponsorships to reach our second goal of $3,000. We are SO grateful to our sponsors to date! Spring Native Plant Sale for the Pollinators!
Sunday May 1 10:00 am - 4 pm
The Pollination Place, 312 N. Main St. off of 4th St., Phoenix
It's here! We are looking forward to seeing our parking lot filled with native plants for the pollinators soon! We now have six vendors participating this year, so there will be plenty of native plants to choose from! Returning vendors Klamath Siskiyou Native Seeds, Jackson County Master Gardeners, and Klamath Native Plant Nursery, along with Pollinator Project Rogue Valley, and two new vendors - Dry Earth Nursery and The Freshwater Trust.

Spring is here! And with it, a new season of bees. Honey bees, having spent the winter clustered for warmth and feeding on honey stored from the previous year, are well adapted to take advantage of the earliest of blooms on sunny days, especially with the disconcertingly dry winter we've had in the Rogue Valley. Bumble bee queens are also out and about looking for potential nest sites, and looking for nectar to replenish themselves after their long winter dormancy.
