There is no doubt that 2020 was a challenging year for all of us. It was a year of uncertainty, divide and at times perceived chaos. I channeled 2020's adversity with a new focus on my creativity and stepping out of creative comfort zones I have adopted over the years. One of my goals this year is to expand on this new found fearlessness, to create without mental boundaries and creative paralysis to truly provide my collectors and future collectors an enhanced artistic experience.
WHAT IS ART?
Is it what we see, what we experience or the act of experiencing all together? Is it to be experienced through one’s sense of touch, taste, hearing, sight or smell?
Is it the object itself or the idea in which the object stands in place of? Is it to be quantified through literal description or is it’s true meaning ever illusive causing words to continuously fall short? Is it dependent upon another, does it take two to tango? Is it functional? Is it functioning? Is it a necessary evil? Can it heal? Can it harm? Can it disrupt? Should it disrupt? Does it disrupt? Should it disrupt? Is it worthy? Is it worth it? Is it worthwhile even determining whether it is worthy of being worth it? Is it the question? Is it the answer? Is it either? Is it the answer? Is it both? Is it?
Since I began this Fine Art journey, I have had the privilege of completing some amazing commissioned projects from collectors across the United States. Commissioning a Fine Art painting from me is a very EXCITING and hands on experience where your involvement is highly encouraged. It starts with a brilliant idea from you and materializes into a piece of Fine Art that you and your loved ones can enjoy for generations to come.
I walk you through the process step by step via email which includes providing progress pictures as the painting materializes, reasonable alterations to the commissioned piece, Certificate of Authenticity and Bill of Sale once the Fine Art piece is complete.
