Dear primary parents
As we confirmed previously, the primary Kermesse will be going ahead this year!
The theme that has been chosen is CSI celebrates 30 years! Attractions will include a bouncy castle and water games, an ice-cream stall, a Tombola (where every ticket is a winner!) and activities / treats at stands organised by each of the International Sections. It’s a great way to celebrate the end of the year in primary.
While INTERSEC coordinates the event overall, each Section organises and runs its own stands and activities. We are very pleased to announce that two brave parent-volunteers have stepped forward to organise the Anglophone Section stands: Polina Kuklina (mother of Lucas, CE2) and Audrey Davidenkoff (mother of Sofia, CM1).
We are now asking primary parents to get involved in one (or more) of the following ways.
- Help to prepare the activities for the Anglophone Section stands. Contact the organisers directly on volunteering@csianglo.org and / or join one of the online planning sessions as follows:
- Sign up to run one of the Anglophone Section stands for a 1.5hr time slot on the day Please sign up using this Doodle https://doodle.com/meeting/participate/id/rb23wKJd
- Provide goodies / treats to be sold at the Anglophone Section stalls. They need to be individually wrapped, in plastic bags / clingfilm and a list of ingredients provided for display alongside. Donations should be sent to school with your child(ren) on the morning of the Kermesse.
- Donate prizes for the Tombola: We will need lots of small prizes to ensure that every ticket is a winner! Suitable prizes include: small items of stationery, toys, gifts, novelty items etc. New items only please, suitable for children. Donations can be left at M. Fino's office at any time.
We are counting on you to help us make the Kermesse a big success for our children!
If you want to ask any questions or make any suggestions or just get in touch please contact us directly at volunteering@csianglo.org .
