Hello,
Here is already the start of the school year, which I wish you enthusiastic and joyful!
Over the last two months, I have limited my movements, devoting my energy to maintaining my small plot of land, preparing my greenhouse, selecting flower seeds as one would create a palette...
Exploring the enclosed Space of the garden that I have long neglected has nevertheless given me a vast feeling of Openness and connection to the World. As for Time, by slowing down my pace, I have experienced Being rather than Doing; and have only touched a paintbrush to repaint my mailbox!
Hyperactive in nature, the exercise was absolutely new (...understand 'not so easy to initiate').
I had confided in you that I had a feeling that this summer would be placed under the protection of the Muse 'Writing', imagining publishing several posts on the Journal whose themes I have in mind.
I didn't do it, but I wrote. So much so that these pages now form almost a small essay. This free and continuous process of creation was also new and made possible by relaxation and renunciation.
I learned a lot.
I do not yet want to reconnect with the canvas, the matter... and to immediately re-engage in the act of painting. This summer has had the effect of an inner winter, preparing the humus, the breeding ground for new visual creations. Leaving us soon, the season seems ready to deliver Persephone's message... however long it takes, this solitary experience is so constructive that I respect its imposed rhythm.
With a lot of curiosity, however.
