Recent Happenings & Upcoming Events  

Welcome Sara Gill D’Orazio to the Board of Directors!
Sara Gill D’ Orazio from Littleton, Massachusetts, will be taking over the club’s secretary position, replacing Donna Dunn. Donna will still be a very active member of the club and we’d like to thank her for all the years she has worked in this position. We’ve all enjoyed working with Donna and look forward to working with Sara. To learn more about her, check out her bio on our website.

New England Dressage Show: July 10 & 11, 2024
The New England Open Classic Dressage Show being held at Mount Holyoke College Equestrian Center on July 10-11 in South Hadley, MA is full! We wish all our competitors the best!
 
Virginia Classic Dressage Show: August 21 & 22, 2024 & Virginia Classic Breed Show: August 24-25, 2024
Entries opened on June 5th for our very popular Virginia Classic Open Dressage Show and the 2024 Andalusian/Lusitano Championship Breed Show being held on August 12-12. Mark your calendars to attend ERAHC’s Educational Symposium Day being held that Friday on August 23rd. Wayne G Hipsley, BSc, MSc. will be the keynote speaker presenting, “From A Judges Point Of View: Presentation of the Halter Horse and Sport Horse” along with many other guest speakers. Join us for have a dinner after the symposium. Tickets will be available soon!
 

ANCCE and APSL Registered Horses Welcome! 
Don’t forget to tell your friends about the classes we are offering to our USPRE and USLA members for their ANCCE and APSL registered horses. Details can be found in the prize list on our website. If there is enough interest and support in these classes, we will be able to bring over foreign judges in the future, as we did in the past. If you’d like to be a committee member to make this happen please get in touch with Susan Hart, susankrupahart@proton.me. We want to support all our Iberian registered horses! 

Breeders Showcase
The Breeders Showcase. We’d like to support our members who have breeding programs by giving them a spotlight at our show. This spotlight includes an exhibition with your horse in a form of your choice during the breed show to music and a script you provide, a stall at a discounted rate, a discounted rate on our hotel, a listing in the program, and your banner displayed along the rail. It’s a great way to connect with potential clients. We are proud of our American bred horses, and we want to show them off! It was launched in December as the "Holiday Gift Guide" and the launch was such a success it seemed like a good idea to keep it going!
