LogWatch is a comprehensive Guardian-based software solution that offers several key functionalities for log monitoring and management: Out-of-the-Box templates: LogWatch has pre-configured templates specifically designed for monitoring iTP Web Server and NS/JSP logs. Configurability: Beyond its pre-configured templates, LogWatch offers extensive configurability options. Users can easily customize the software to monitor a variety of other log types, including EMS, VHS, or Guardian files. Also, it can be used with 3rd party product logs such as HPE Shadowbase, NuWave's LightWave, Comforte's SecurDPs, and others. Pattern Recognition: One of the core features of LogWatch is its ability to analyze log entries for defined error or anomaly patterns. Alerting and Remediation: When LogWatch detects a defined error or anomaly pattern in log entries, it can take automated corrective actions or raise alerts to notify administrators.
