More Good News for EV Buyers
Did you know that you may be eligible for a federal tax credit when you purchase a USED EV? According to the IRS, "Beginning January 1, 2023, if you buy a qualified used electric vehicle (EV) or fuel cell vehicle (FCV) from a licensed dealer for $25,000 or less, you may be eligible for a used clean vehicle tax credit (also referred to as a previously owned clean vehicle credit). The credit equals 30% percent of the sale price up to a maximum credit of $4,000." This provision makes buying an EV even more affordable for many people.
Learn about the Inflation Reduction Act at the
Wayne County Home & Garden Show
WCSEN will be at the Show Saturday, April 29 (10am-5pm) and Sunday, April 30 (10 am-4pm). We will have additional information about how you can benefit from the Inflation Reduction Act, and can help you find answers to your questions.
The Act will provide many long-term benefits to consumers, including reduced energy bills and health-care costs. Rebates and tax credits will lower the cost of emissions-reducing goods and services. These rebates and credits apply to clean energy systems, like solar, wind, or geothermal, including the labor and fees for permitting, inspection, and development, and stand-alone batteries with more than 3 kilowatt-hours of storage. For more information, visit the official IRS site.
At the Show, in addition to information about the Act, WCSEN will have a quiz for attendees with GREEN prizes. Be sure to drop by our booth!
