Dear Breathers,
I am sitting at the end of a yoga practice facing my students. Our eyes are closed, yet I feel everyone. Our palms are in prayer, thumbs lightly touching our chests.
When the air becomes especially translucent, I bow forward and say “Namaste”. Somehow after I say it I find my body bends a little further and rests there in stillness, imprinted with a feeling. I love this part, this home.
What is this feeling? It feels like the marriage of respect and compassion. It feels so right in my body, that I find a deep and powerful calmness here.
Nama means to bow, as means I, and te means you.
My soul bows to your soul.
Let's breathe consciously for thirty minutes and follow with a third eye meditation for another ten minutes.
It's a good idea to have your journal nearby, as you may want to write down some insights when you finish. It's also nice to have a candle or two lit, a glass of water, or tea, a pillow, and a blanket (you will be lying down). On the zoom screen, you have the choice to keep your camera on or off. Do what feels best for you. This is about you creating a practice space that feels extra special.
Below is your invitation to the Breathing Meditation. Please share it freely, all are welcome.
With Love,
Lucy
