New Venus Point & Updated Website |

Greetings Friends & Followers,
This week we are approaching a rare star alignment, as Venus and the Sun come into what we call Cazimi (when a planet is close to the Sun).
Venus known as the morning star, is also an evening star. In-between those two phases (approximately 9 months each), Venus disappears from the sky. During this in-between time, she is hidden, underworld - where she is now.
This Saturday though, October 22nd, she moves directly behind the Sun, and becomes illuminated by the Sun’s rays. In other words, Venus is in the glare of the Sun. While this isn’t unusual (she does it every Venus cycle), this time it’s significant because the two are meeting up for the first time in one-hundred fifty years in the sign of Libra! This is a harkening call for more Love, Artistry, Communication in Relationships, and overall Balance and Justice in the world, we will be influenced collectively by this New Venus Libra Star Point, as she moves slowly, incrementally through the 30 degrees of Libra (in a backward motion) for the next 150 (give or take) years.
Venus represents women, equality, fairness and balance among many things. To keep this relatively simple, we each are born with a Venus Star Point. These points shift over long stretches of time.
The current points are: Gemini (or Taurus like my Grandmother), Capricorn (or Aquarius in the mid 20th century), Leo (or Virgo through the early 80’s), Aries (soon moving into Pisces!), and Scorpio (now Libra--(Venus in Libra is in her home sign, her domicile (excellent placement), and in Pisces she is exalted.
Why is this significant? Because both Aries and Scorpio are ruled by Mars, the war planet and also the masculine. And correlate to aggression, impatience, confrontative (Aries is also courageous, leader, and determined!).
Need I say more?
We do have one more Scorpio point at 00 in 2026 and obviously, we still have much to face and then it’s over for a long long time.
Two significant women’s rights advocates were born with Venus Libra Star Points, and became leaders of social reform: abolition of slavery, equal rights for women and slaves: Elizabeth Cady Staton (Nov. 12, 1815) Johnstown NY and Susan B. Anthony (Feb. 15, 1820) Adams MA. ~Guttman, A, interview Astrology Podcast
This alone gives us a taste for what’s to come.
Others born with Libra Star Points or became famous or significant influencers of equality under the light of Libra Star: Beethoven, Mozart, Wordsworth, Blake, Audubon, Phillis Wheatley, Sojourner Truth (1797), Douglass (1817-1818), Frances Harper (1825).
Art is ruled by Venus, especially when in the signs of Libra and Taurus.
The Libra points were active through 1879, and thus impacted the collective consciousness through those born with the Libra Points, and those with cardinal points or astrological aspects to those points.
This is why our Venus Star Point, and knowing what Venus Cycle we were born in is quite revealing, and lends great depth to our general astrological makeup. |

Pentagram
Venus’ astronomical orbit (her synodic cycle—over a period of 8 years) literally marks 5 points in the sky, making a pentagram pattern.
Over and over Venus weaves her pentagram star in the sky. As this pattern repeats over and over (the points slowly move through specific zodiac degrees) thus expanding into the sacred geometry of the rose (shown in image above).
Five petals, five points, five elements, five fingers/toes, five extremities (including the head), five wounds of Christ…what DaVinci was obsessed with--Fibonacci—the Golden Mean. Johannes Kepler discovered the orbits of the planets and correlated Divine Proportion to them through the theories of Pythagoras. Phi, the Golden Mean and Venus are inextricably linked. Her orbital proportion to Earth 13:8, traces out a pentagram in the heavens over an 8-year period and correlates to the numerical ratio of Phi = 1.61803398875.
The Pentagram is ancient, and traces back more than 5,000 years. Reaching far beyond the modern terror that has been thrown upon it. In the early part of the century, I studied the Venus Cycle and her Pentagram orbit and it illuminated my inner life and my love of Venus. This also began to heal a huge wound in my psyche, very early sexual abuse, by a distant neighbor, that was colored by threads of this ancient and pure symbol, yet warped by religion, society and culture into a symbol of evil, and obviously by the person who abused me, that sent me into a dungeon of trauma and fear for decades.
We never know what will bring our life around into alignment with the Divine, and help us shed shame and transform into wholeness. For me Venus was the key, and her amazing Pentagram synodic cycle.
In my forth-coming book, Oracles of Venus, much more is shared about Venus, her inner cycles and her collective cycles, and how to track her in the sky, and work with your own personal Venus Imprint.
So we have much to celebrate and be thankful for in the midst of the ending of one age, as we traverse into the next. There are many astrological shifts occurring now (Venus Libra Star Point 2022, Pluto ingress into Aquarius March 2023 - 1st time in 240+ years, and numerous planets going direct).
With the current nodes (collective evolutionary focus) in Taurus/Scorpio, and Uranus in Taurus (weather, earth, resources) we are collectively and personally dealing with immense economic challenges, hidden or buried themes (lies/truths) and very deep emotions to surface, all meant to lead us towards healing ultimately. And being a change-agent for the earth and her kin, all within the veil of the ECLIPSES (Oct 25 & Nov 8).
Much will be revealed, spurring us on to reach for the call of justice, balance, and fairness for all.
(hint about me: I’m a Venus Aries Point, ruled by Mars in Libra) |

| | PLANETARY WEATHER For the rest of October:
We have the rare Venus Sun combustion, forming in Libra, October 22nd
Scorpio New Moon Solar Eclipse (Partial) Oct 25, 2022 Sun/Moon @2 Scorpio and South Node @13 Scorpio. Eclipses open portals - very palpable time, when the veils are thin, and we see things more clearly (if we allow it).
The closing eclipse is a Taurus Full Moon Lunar Eclipse Nov 8, 2023 @16 Taurus/Scorpio With both eclipses on or near Keto (South Node Dragon), reflections of the past come forward (especially when we have planets at any of these *Scorpio/Taurus degrees (Aquarius/Leo to).
With the collective nodes in Taurus/Scorpio (eclipses fall wherever the nodes are) themes of resources, i.e., money, food, power are unfolding. Eclipses heighten those themes and effect significant change - MAJOR TURNING POINTS. Fated destinies, leaping forward into new life, bypassing years of stagnant patterns. A massive push, which may feel intense.
Downtime during eclipses are ideal, much easier to flow with the messages coming through, and to integrate (which can take up to six months).
Uranus (change-agent) also in Taurus adds a disruptor influences to these areas of life, and amps up our much needed attention to breaking-free from our abuse of the Earth and Nature (Taurus), including surprising extremes in weather.
I have included below a video about the current transits and the upcoming eclipses, which lends to sharing more detail and coverage over all the planetary weather.

| | PLANETS IN MOTION Mercury October 7 stations direct Pluto October 8 stations direct Saturn October 23 to station direct Jupiter October 29 back to Pisces Mars October 30 stations Rx (retrograde)
Direct motion planets are more powerful, and we all feel the shifts. Even though there is a great deal going on collectively, we feel the relief of Pluto especially moving forward.
Pluto is nearing the end of its time in Capricorn (2007-2024) after 5 months retrograde - in the review process. This brings a big sigh of relief as Pluto retrograde can feel like a heavy weight or heavy pressure without ability to move away from it. Meant to help break up status-quo norms. Pluto is moving through the last degrees of Capricorn, and touches into Aquarius March 23, 2023 (a long awaited sign of relief among astrologers). Back to Capricorn
Pluto is the roto-router of the zodiac, purges all that is unnecessary for evolutionary growth. In Capricorn it has been grueling, tightening its grip on society because distorted Patriarchal structures, i.e., governments, religions, power/domination in money, big business are resistant to healthy change.
In Aquarius, Pluto will seek to level the playing field and foster humanitarian efforts in the eollective. It is an outer-planet and moves slowly through generations of time, instilling its intention through whatever zodiac sign it is in - like a slow long brew of kombucha, building its power, many times invisibly.
Uranus, ruler of Aquarius, breaks up the status quo: sudden change, disruptor, change-agent, shock, technology, innovation, leading-edge...much more to say about the Promethean sign in the coming months.
