Now that Winter is right around the corner the temperature is starting to shift to be cooler; this means that your pet’s joints may become stiffer for some of our older fur babies, making it hard for them to get moving in the morning or jumping into the back of the car.
Just like us, our pets can develop arthritis over time. The most common form of arthritis for both pets and humans is osteoarthritis and is most commonly seen in older pets. Arthritis is the most common cause of chronic pain in dogs. It affects 20% of dogs over 1 year of age and is in the top 10 health problems diagnosed in dogs over 7 years of age.
