MILTON 11th HOUR CALLING
First Parish’s Social & Environmental Justice Committee and Sustainable Milton are collaborating to launch a public-facing action on the eleventh day of every month, supporting this National Movement.
Your presence and creative, colorful, positive signage and First Parish's church bells will demonstrate (think of commuters on Canton Avenue!) to our community that we care about the climate emergency, environmental justice, and Milton’s municipal planning.
This event will repeat monthly and welcomes all ages and organizations to participate --- such as Blue Hills Climate Action Coalition, Milton Change Makers, youth organizations, and Milton Interfaith Clergy Assoc.'s congregations.
Standing up together promotes positive change so bring your: positive, encouraging, motivating, colorful signs and homemade banners. For safety, bring flashlights and/or headlamps, and wear light-colored or reflective clothing! Spread the word: bring your friends and neighbors. Show up!
February 11th, 6 - 6:30PM (or February 12th if bad weather)
