HAPPY FRIDAY! On Day 7 of our 10 day campaign we're looking at Dunamis, our community center located in the heart of La Merced, the largest red-light district in Latin America. |
|
|
We provide a safe place for women working in prostitution, many of whom are victims of human trafficking. Over a free meal, our staff builds relationships with these women to become a support network, offering a way out of prostitution through workshops, therapy, spiritual guidance and tutoring. We are so proud of each woman coming through the community center, and of the everyday triumphs that are the hallmark of real transformation. |

Through the Eyes of a 10-Year-Old Watch the true story of one of those survivors, as told by 10-year-old Parker Lee Smith. It is unimaginable that girls are often being groomed or even trafficked at this same age. |
