How has CrossFit Kalamazoo changed your life, lifestyle, and level of fitness? My level of fitness has never been better than when I am going to CrossFit five days a week. I have been able to track my growth in the gym as I continue to get stronger which is extremely motivating.
If someone asked you “What is CrossFit Kalamazoo” how would you answer?
I would tell them CrossFit Kalamazoo is the perfect gym to begin your CrossFit journey. It is extremely welcoming of athletes of all ages and skill levels. At CrossFit Kalamazoo, you will be encouraged to push yourself physically and given the opportunity to grow closer to others in the community.
What advice would you give someone walking into CrossFit Kalamazoo for the first time?
Push yourself to the best of your ability. It doesn’t matter what the people around are lifting or the times they are getting, you can get there too! Also don’t be discouraged by the soreness it goes away!
What is your favorite CrossFit movement? My favorite movement is definitely the tire flipping cause it looks cool! On the bar I enjoy cleans.
What is your least favorite CrossFit movement? And why?
I really don’t like kettlebell swings, I don’t know if it’s because I am not good at them or what, but they are just exhausting.
Tell us something that we would be surprised to know about you? I skipped my birthday burpees and no one ever realized it!!!
What would your superpower be and why? Teleportation, I could travel wherever I want for free.
