Summary: "Los Vaqueros Restaurant has appointed Manuel Vasquez to serve as culinary director and executive chef at Los Vaqueros West in Willow Park. Vasquez, AKA "Chef Manny," will expand the restaurant's acclaimed Tex-Mex menu by introducing Southwestern, Latin, Spanish, and Southern influences in specials on Friday and Saturday nights and Sunday brunch."

Summary: Good news for those in app-overload. This week, Willow Park Civics suggested two ways to contact the City of Willow Park about the City's Parks and Trails and other City services. In response to the WPC Blog, the City announced SeeClickFix, which requires an app, will be retired and replaced with TextMyGov, which only requires a simple text message.

Trinity Track gets 911 signage, article by The Community News, 26 July 2024

Summary: Trinity Track at Kings Gate Park now has 9-1-1 sign posts, which are approximately 5-foot tall, red fiberglass posts, each with a letter of the alphabet noting the location of the marker. The markers have been geo-referenced to digital files that emergency services have in their dispatch systems.
