Easter Fair: Saturday, April 16 from 10-12 Join us in the Fellowship Hall on Saturday, April 16 at 10 am for our annual Easter Fair! Decorate cookies, create Easter cards, sing songs, and of course, participate in our annual egg hunt on the church lawn! RSVP via our website by Sunday, April 10. Families are invited to bring donations for our One Great Hour of Sharing Offering. |

EASTER SPECIAL OFFERING Our One Great Hour of Sharing Offering goes to support the resurrection ministries of Presbyterian Disaster Assistance, Presbyterian Hunger Programs, and the Self-Development of People. Part-time Children and Youth Director at New Castle Presbyterian Church: Help us share the Good News of Christ with our youngest members! NCPC’s Children and Youth Director position includes teaching Sunday School for children ages K-5, coordinating seasonal events for children of all ages, and planning activities for middle and high school-aged youth. Anticipated start on August 28, 2022. Flexible work schedule of 10 hours per week, including Sunday mornings and occasional evenings/weekends. Prior Christian Education experience preferred. NURSERY VOLUNTEERS NEEDED We hope to offer Sunday morning nursery care through the end of the school year, but we are still looking for a few more volunteers to fill out the calendar. Please contact Molly Shaw to sign up and begin the nursery orientation process. All volunteers need to complete child protection training and pass a background check. |

GUATEMALA PROJECT Join us after church on May 1st for a presentation by the Guatemala Project Steering Committee on their first trip to Guatemala since the pandemic began. See and hear first hand about the success of the projects we've help to fund and new opportunities rising to empower women. A little taste of Guatemalan chocolate will help add some fun to this presentation by the Mission/Outreach Committee! |

Special Events with The Ministry of Caring Emmanuel Dining Room Auction 2022 JOIN THE FUN & HELP FEED THE HOMELESS & POOR The Ministry of Caring’s Emmanuel Dining Room Auction is returning from pandemic hiatus! Join us at 2-6 p.m. April 24 at Barclays Bank at 125 West South Street in Wilmington for the splashy comeback of our signature event that The News Journal dubbed “the granddaddy of Delaware benefit auctions.” Admission includes hors d'oeuvres, buffet dinner, beer and wine. Sales of tickets – $125 per person – help raise operating funds for Emmanuel Dining Room’s three locations, serving more than 400 nutritious meals daily to the hungry, with no requirements and no questions asked. GOOD FRIDAY SPECIAL SERVICE: Seven Last Words of Christ from the Cross On Friday, April 15th a Good Friday service will be held at St. James Episcopal Church in Mill Creek at 12:00pm. The service includes meditations on the Seven Last Words Of Christ, accompanied by scripture and musical selections. Keith St. John, Music Director at St. James will be the Organist with Dr. Michael Larkin directing the choir. Several members of our church choir will be participating in the service. All are welcome to attend this spiritually meaningful service. |

Gifts of Love: Collection on Sunday, April 3 Our Gifts of Love financial gifts provide Delmarva utility assistance to our neighbors in need. Our annual goal is to support 72 families with their electric bills. (Totaling $3,600 annually). Please plan to make a contribution through the white Gifts of Love envelopes as we renew our efforts to love our neighbors. |

SPRINKLE THANK YOU - AND WELCOME BABY VIVI! Many thanks to NCPC for sprinkling the Russell family with love through their trying last trimester. Erica, Ernest, and brother Doug welcomed Baby Girl Viviana Russell into the world on Wednesday, March 30! Vivi was 6 lbs 15 oz, 20 inches long, and we give thanks to God that all are doing well. Welcome Vivi, beloved child of God! |
