National Eating Disorder
Awareness Week
Meet Rach, a warrior who is recovering from Binge Eating Disorder (BED).
"It's not easy to wake every day and keep fighting the eating disorder battle. I have suffered with them for the last 6 years and it has been one of the hardest challenges I've had to face so far, but I want you to know that recovery us possible.
If I could give one message to those who are suffering right now and feel like they can't get out of it, it would be this. There is so much more to life than waking up every. day and doing everything in you power to change your body. The truth is nothing will ever be enough. There will always be something more you want to change about yourself, so choose recovery. There is a beautiful world out there and you deserve to experience all the wonderful things life has to offer. This won't last forever. Don't give up because there is hope and light at the end of the tunnel. Please know you are valid, and you are so much stronger than you know. <3 "
