Our Skate Instructor Program has LAUNCHED! |

Big Announcement! Our instructors have been working hard on our NEW Skate Instructor Training Course! Register Here! Payment plans available– we want our program to be accessible and are open to be flexible. We’ve built this new course with our experience teaching over 1,000 students through our 2022 Lesson Program, SkateIA certification, and time at the drawing board with our team. Teaching brings us so much joy, and we want to share our expertise! Since we know you all are super excited about these updates and likely have questions, Jen will be hosting an IG Live session to field live conversations and questions about our instructional programs and skate lessons with the wider community on Wednesday, March 1st @ 8:30PM. Tune in on IG from the @la.skate.hunnies profile. Our program will prepare you how to teach lessons of your own, market yourself as an instructor, and tap into the opportunities of our teacher network. While skating is our focus, we want to empower you to learn skills that will be applicable to everyday life, as well. Our course includes a full day of in-person instruction, complimentary t-shirt and lunch, 1-on-1 coaching, and more! We have recently compiled and published the testimonials from our 2022 skate course season on our website. If you want to see what others have thought about our classes so far, check it out! |

We have news on the return of our skate lessons, too! We know many have been asking about our skate lesson program and when the winter hiatus will end. We have been working hard to build new skate course programming for you all, and will be announcing dates soon for the 2023 season launch in April 2023. Please stay tuned! |

We're Going to Big Bear (Again!) |

In March, we're sending it again! The Hunnies are gearing up for our second snow day trip to Big Bear Mountain, join us! Last month's field trip to ski and board in Big Bear was so much fun, you won't want to miss this one. Please RSVP and fill out registration forms by March 3rd to receive a carpool placement and the Hunnies group discount (save $40)! Have questions? Don't hesitate to reach out! Here are some moments from our skate day at Volcom HQ in Costa Mesa! We skated the private skate park, shopped skater-owned vendors, hosted free workshops, and a raffle! Thank you to all of our vendors, volunteers, partners, and special thanks to Volcom Studio for hosting us. This January, 30+ of our local skaters traveled from Los Angeles to Miami, FL for Skater Migration! We skated amongst wheely friends from all over the country (and beyond!), made friends and connected over a shared love for skating. It was so much fun! Similar events coming up later this year are the Big Apple Roll (NYC) and Big Avocado Roll (LA), make sure you're following to stay up to date!
