INSIDE: Updates Short Story March Bookshelf |
Hey friends! Thank you to everyone who has contributed to my Indiegogo campaign thus far. The number on my campaign page doesn't show the correct amount raised since some contributors have chosen to submit offline. So I'm actually halfway to my goal! If you didn't know, you can receive a signed paperback copy, book merch, and more from me. Check out my campaign page for details. The campaign ends April 7th! |
I completely understand not everyone can contribute financially, but there are other ways you can help. Please visit my Indiegogo campaign page to see other ways you can support my campaign. |

I sent my manuscript to my developmental editor on March 1st. I'm super nervous but also can't wait to get her feedback. She sent me a message saying she'd get the edit letter to me the first week of April. Eeeeek! :) I'm not sure how long the revisions will take me to implement, but I hope to get through them in April during Camp NaNoWriMo and send the revised manuscript to my copy editor in May. If this doesn't happen, I'll have to redo some of my timeline. I'll keep you updated! |

This month I wrote a short story that takes place in the world of Rhythm of the Stars. A character that's only mentioned in my upcoming debut novel is the main character of this short story. I'm sharing the story of Laurelanna Edwin (beta readers should recognize that name). In Rhythm of the Stars, it's mentioned that Laurelanna died on the gallows because of an accusation of witchcraft. But are the Port Paxton history books correct, or are they covering up something much darker? You'll have to read this story to find out. |
This story is a perk and a way for me to say thank you to my Indiegogo campaign contributors. So they get to read the full story first. In the future, I can share the story on my Members' page on my website, but that might not happen for a year. |
So for now, please click on the survey button below to let me know if you'd like me to share some snippets of it here with you. If enough of you are interested, I can share a few snippets after I'm done editing it. |

March This month I read The Last Time I Lied for the #buzzwordathon and gave it five stars. If you don't know what the #buzzwordathon is, check out my Instagram post about it. HERE I also did a buddy read of the Shadow & Bones trilogy this month with some of my writer friends. It was so fun discussing the books with them. Now I can't wait to see the show on Netflix in April! To see more of my reads throughout the year check out my Goodreads. | | |
