October is quite possibly one of the most beautiful months of the year.  It must the change of seasons that seems so refreshing and promising.  The humidity drops, the temperatures are more bearable and sky seems to be a truer blue.  Time to play outside again!  I’m planting a vegetable garden during the next month and will reap the rewards in the coming months.

Whether in person or by WebEx, I ask that you plan on attending this month’s General Membership Meeting Thursday.  To be in compliance with our current Bylaws we need one more meeting with a Quorum of 32 to adjust the Quorum.  Besides; we have a great Agenda with events and fundraisers to talk about for a change!

Our first sorting at 7830 Lobean Lane in Bokeelia will be on Saturday, October 17th from 10:00am until 3:00pm.  The downstairs is FULL.  We’ve got a great start for the 2021 Bag ‘n Tag!

Remember that DUES are due this month and must be paid either in person, by mail or online through our website to enable you to VOTE at our November General Membership Meeting to elect the 2021 Board of Directors.  There are several positions available if let us know if you’re interested in running.  Nominations will be accepted at this meeting.

Looking forward to ‘seeing’ you all soon!
