What's Up IN February!

A New Look!

Last year we were able to update our entrance sign thanks to an enhancement grant we received from the Oregon Chamber of Commerce.  We purchased a mirror image of our existing sign and re-positioned the sign so it can be seen by traffic coming from both directions.  We also added new posts and a new planting garden below the sign.  I am so excited to plant some bright annuals there this spring!

NEW PLANTS FOR 2019

Below are some new items we will be carrying this year.  The complete list of new plants will be added to our website by the end of the month.  Hopefully this bit of color will help take the pain away from all of this crazy weather we have had!

Incrediball Blush Smooth Hydrangea

Height: 4-6 ft
Width: 4-6 ft
Bloom Time: June,July,August,September

Ceanothus americanus

New Jersey Tea

Native shrub with white flowers in June/July borne on one - two inch panicles. Good for difficult areas. Great for attracting hummingbirds and butterflies.

Height: 3-4 ft
Width: 3-4 ft
Soil Conditions: Dry
Flower Color: White
Bloom Time: June,July

Hosta 'School Mouse'

Blue-green center, amazing wide yellow ruffled edge. As with most miniature hostas, the growth rate is slow and they will need a moist soil as well as an open space not crowded by larger encroaching plants.

Height: 6-8 in
Width: 12-18 in

Our combination pots were a big hit last spring!  We will have several new varieties available this year. There are three annuals in one 6.5 inch pot.  You just drop the plant into your container, water, fertilize and watch it grow!
