🔢 By The Numbers In 23-24, the first year of programming, our Texas School Ready coaches reached all of their coaching goals with 98% accuracy according to the reporting from the Children’s Learning Institute at UT Health. They supported more than 20 centers in building stronger Infant, Toddler and PreK Programs Westchase Neighborhood School exceeded its student growth goals for 3rd-6th grade. In most cases, students scored well above the state average in Reading, Math, Science and Social Studies Neighborhood Preschools really showed up in our first full school year of operating our own PreK4 Programs! Over 90% of all PreK4 students tested Kinder-Ready in Math. Westchase Neighborhood Preschools had 94% of their PreK4 students test Kinder-Ready in Reading and over 70% of PreK4 Students We added 10 new PreK Partnerships (making a total of 14 Partnerships) and Launched the Neighborhood Preschools Network to help providers all over Houston improve the quality of their programming and shore up their business models

📕 LevelUp Leadership training was a success! We are excited to share that NSI’s Leadership team recently participated in a three-day transformative Level Up training workshop. The enriching experience focused on developing a clear vision, recognizing and leveraging individual and team strengths, cultivating a growth mindset, and exploring diverse leadership styles. Through interactive sessions and collaborative activities provided by Mike Feinberg, Dr Ruth Bomar, Trish Gaines, Christina Dismuke and Anna Hardway, our leaders gained valuable insights and practical tools to enhance their leadership skills. The training not only fostered personal growth but also strengthened our team’s ability to lead with purpose and impact. We look forward to seeing the positive changes and innovations this training will bring to our team and organization. |

The Neighborhood Preschools Network strives to not only be a helpful conduit to support diversification of each provider’s business model, but also a hub that recognizes and strengthens each provider’s efforts to become a recognized part of the child care community and to give back to the neighborhoods they serve. Our community of practice is based on common values regarding safe and high quality child care, clear communication and bold trust. |
