Happy Thanksgiving Livingsong family,

Praying this message finds you in the peace and joy of our Lord, Jesus Christ.   We are in the last couple months of 2021 and in the holiday season already, can you believe it?   Many of us know all too well how the majority of people celebrate Thanksgiving - people spend the day eating too much and then strategizing Black Friday sales plan of attack. 😊 With all the Turkey feast preparations, and Christmas shopping to do, it's easy to get caught up in it and miss what and who Thanksgiving should “first” be about!   First, let us give thanks to our God and our Creator, Amen?   Having an attitude of gratitude keeps our hearts in the right relationship to the One who has given us the greatest gift, His only begotten Son, Christ Jesus. “In everything give thanks; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”  (1 Thessalonians 5:18)

While on the topic of gratitude, Manny and I are truly humbled by the family of supporters the Lord has blessed us with.  Each of you are crucial to our mission!  Thank you Pastor Andrew Delong (TLC), Barbara DuBrul, Bob Sofronski (CLPRM), Dave Geyer, Pastor Dennis & Tamara Jones, Doran Edwards, Elena Morse, Kanani Kimmanee, Kelly & Kyle Pryce, Lillian Seu, Maciel Mason, Michelle Link, Patti Gumerson, Pastor Paul & Tracy Lucas, Pat Smith, and Roberta Renk for your faithfulness in prayer and giving towards this mission.   In addition, we give thanks to those of you who follow us online to stay updated with our ministry activity and lift us up in prayer.  To our missionary hospitality friends, and churches who have permitted us to park and rest overnight, you have been a true blessing to us.  In a decade of ministry, we are about to reach 2000 worship services held in prisons, recovery support programs, and homeless shelters in over 30 states across the U.S. and we believe the Lord still has much more kingdom work left for us to do!

So what’s next?

2022 will be here before you know it, so we are prayerfully mapping out a mission tour headed south of Jacksonville.   By the 6th of January we will be serving in SouthWest FL for two weeks, followed by the Miami coast by the end of that month.   For now, Manny and I will be extra busy until the rest of the year with the final equipment upgrades and training for the visual and audio team of First Baptist Church Boulougne.  Our prayer is that the efforts we have invested here will empower the ministry of music leaders to lead this church to a deeper and more passionate worship fixed on Christ alone.   Lastly, God has something huge in store next year, and we can’t wait to share it.  Plans are in the works and much prayer for continued direction and wisdom.   We will definitely fill you in soon.  Until next time, Manny and I send our hugs, love, prayers, and thanksgiving to you for being a part of our Livingsong family.   “And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful.” Colossians 3:15

Prayer Requests

  • Prayer request for my sister, Angela, who was recently diagnosed with breast cancer and has undergone a unilateral mastectomy.  Lord, please use this season to increase my sister’s faith through your healing.

  • Our sister in Christ and friend, Pat Smith has recently had knee replacement surgery.  Prayers for recovery.

  • The worship director of First Baptist Church Boulougne retired this past summer, and they are hoping to find someone to fill that position.  Please keep our dear friends in prayer, for the Lord to meet their need.

Praise Reports

  • Unfortunately our October trip to Macon, GA to serve our Rescue Mission Recovery Program friends had to be postponed. It was due to a bad upper respiratory infection I had, but praise God, I’m fully recovered, and the rescheduled date is going to be even better!

  • Praise God for the doors He keeps opening for us!  We have been invited to visit our new friends from New Hope Church in Naples FL, where we will have the opportunity to lead worship and share the mission God has called us to.   Visit our website for the upcoming service date!

  • Our "Home on wheels" is going to be out of commission for a few days starting December 2nd to have water damage repair.  A $7000 minimum repair cost on average. 😫  Praise God we found a RV repair shop who is only charging us $1800, and First Baptist Church of Boulougne is permitting us to stay in their parsonage while our home on wheels will be in the shop!  🙌
