Dear friends,

The imminent approaching of the cold weather reminds us of how quickly the warmer days went by this year and how many life changing events and opportunities we have been so privileged to be a part of! Fall is harvest time and oh, how plentiful it is!

Matt. 9:35-38

Last week, we said our farewell to our last team who visited us this year! Our dear friends, Pastor Karey and Marge Schaffer, Brian and Jan Hard and Liviana Rocco blessed us in ways greater than we can express! They took ample time to meet with us, both as a team and individually, listening, encouraging and sharing their wisdom and experiences with us. What a great way to prepare us for the greater things ahead!

Speaking about things ahead, we are very excited to let you know that the piece of land adjacent to the BCC is becoming available for purchase and it will soon become the home of many abandoned and orphan children! So help us Lord!

Each team that came to Baneasa this year was so unique and designed by God for a very specific work, to help reach the people, work with church planting, assist with training and serving the needs in our region! They strengthened our vision and calling and offered resources, encouragement and their talents to move us forward.

Children's Ministry Conferences

Besides the work of evangelism done in our unreached towns and villages we were able to conduct three conferences, serving all the churches in the Southeast region of Dobrogea!

In September, we were able to facilitate a conference for all the children ministry leaders in Constanta, lead by Robin and Cindy McKinley! Eleven churches received a suitcase full of supplies for ministry, a puppet stage and a complete flanelograph set! In addition, we translated Robin’s children book “The Contest” and distributed 1,000 copies to the churches! A great blessing that came with this team was Carrie Kingsburry who left behind some of her most beautiful murals, both at BCC and at Cuigiuc Center!

Pastor & Wives Retreat

Thanks to Double Honor Ministry, we had the opportunity to lead a group of national pastors and their wives on a retreat in Pamukkale, Turkey! This was a great time of connecting, refreshing and renewal for all of us!

Reminder

This summer at the GC, AGWM was approved to retain 7% of all contributions to our monthly budget instead of the previous 5%. Many donors have not yet raised their giving by 2%, therefore our monthly budget has decreased by that amount.  Please notify your pastors and missions boards to help us by raising their giving to march that amount so that our budget would be rebalanced.

And Now This!

The book “On the Lamb” will be coming out soon! A few weeks ago, Kevin and Lynn St George along with their son Kevin and Pastor DJ Galade came to Romania with great anticipation to collect all the information needed for Lynn to write a book about our story and for DJ to produce a documentary-drama based on interviews, observations and all the resources available to bring to life the events that lead to the amazing work for which the Lord has forged us to accomplish! We are very excited and looking forward with great anticipation to this great project!

• The church plant in Ostrov is underway- this week began the work to restore the existing house in order to have a meeting place inside, before winter. Please pray for consistent work and good weather for this project.
• Pray for our team of workers who are covering the ministry at the three sites, Baneasa, Cuiugiuc and Ostrov.
• Pray for strength, health, encouragement and changed lives! Pray for favor with our local officials and for cooperation with the religious leaders.
• Pray for our Christmas outreaches in the public schools. Pray that the shoe box gifts for children will arrive on time and will cover the children in all seven schools!
