We hope you are all enjoying series 2!  It's "All About Sports" and we've had so much fun with it already.  One of our favorite things about writing and recording this series has been learning about sports we didn't know as much about before researching.  We learned a lot about cricket, for example.  Make sure you listen to episode 2 for more on cricket.  And if your child (or you!) want to learn more about cricket, this Bluey episode is awesome!

At Kiddywink Crew we love to "lead with our 3 hearts".  Our mascot, Ozzie, is an octopus, and our favorite fact about him is that he has 3 hearts.  We want to spend some time in this section to focus on things that are at the heart, or hearts, of our business.
 
This Month's Focus: Call a Kiddywink Segment
 
 We love our kiddywink crew guests!  We love hearing from parents all over the US (and beyond!) and asking if their child(ren) can be on the show.  If your child has any interest in joining us, please don't hesitate to reach out!  
 
For those of you who don't know what this segment consists of, it's a discussion about the story.  We love having a child's voice as a big part of it. Comprehension is such an important part of reading.  Having a discussion about a Kiddywink story is a great way to work on developing comprehension skills.  And those skills can be strengthened in this way before a child is even able to decode/read on their own.

 
We had a great time at Robert's Westside last month!  
 
Coming up - We want to come to your school!  Can we do a live storytelling for you?  Or read "An Above Par Day"?  Or do an improv story, or one that relates to your school mascot, or motto?!
