We finally got some snow in town this week and the temperatures are dropping quick!
In speaking with my homeowner clients over the last week, many are gearing up for a move but seem tempted to hold off until Spring to list, as that is usually seen as the prime time. This may hold true in a normal market, but from what I've been witnessing in the market, buyers are not waiting to buy. Demand is high and informed buyers are doing their best to move fast and beat rising mortgage rates before they have to adjust their affordability. With inventory still extremely low, homes are moving very quickly. According to a recent report, the average home sold faster this January than any January on record! Wow! This could be a great year for Sellers to consider listing their home in the early Spring to beat the competition and make a move to their new home before Summer.
