Welcome to this week's update on Colombo's meal deals, food delivery and events. Thank you to everyone who supported the "Buy a Meal" day last week and ordered a meal from a local restaurant. Every meal ordered supports not only the restaurant and the staff who work there. It also supports their supplies; the dairy who supply the milk, the farms who supply the vegetables, the fisheries who supply the seafood; the delivery drivers and many more. We are planning some further events over the next two to three months, to support the restaurants, the bands, DJs and others who have been struggling for some time. We hope to be able to share more details soon. In the meantime, please do continue to support the hospitality businesses, order a meal from time to time. It doesn't have to be expensive. Our deliveries page has around 100 suggestions for deliveries starting from as low as Rs200 for a lunch box. #EveryMealHelps. This week of course, with the curfew and travel restrictions, there is little happening in the way of happy hours or entertainment. However we have found a number of online events that might be of interest, both local and international. This includes international comedy, cookery classes, workshops. We've also updated the Deliveries page, and the special offers page, so hopefully you will be able to find some new ideas and deals. Keep Safe and Stay Well .
