Love isn’t supposed to be perfect. Things are flawed, complicated, and never exactly how we expect them tobe. There’s this misconception that love means holding out for perfection. Love Is Messy. Love is vulnerability, and vulnerability means imperfection. With this series of Fine Art, I wanted to create an example in which the layers of paint represent the ups and downs, and in and out of love we have with our partners. There is a goal of “Forever” and that can be obtained by working hard and growing together while individually maturing daily. By adding the “Splashing” of the paint, it shows the Pain, the Hurt, yet the Smiles, Happiness and Love that true partners can share throughout life together. LOVE IS MESSY…

My daily inspiration comes from Floyd Norman. The path that Mr. Norman had to take wasn’t an easy one. But his path led him working directly with Walt Disney on the Jungle Book, to animating Fat Albert and the opening sequence to the tv show “Soul Train.”
Every time there is a great moment in animation, you look around and see Floyd Norman.

Since I began this Fine Art journey, I have had the privilege of completing some amazing commissioned projects from collectors across the United States. Commissioning a Fine Art painting from me is a very EXCITING and hands on experience where your involvement is highly encouraged. It starts with a brilliant idea from you and materializes into a piece of Fine Art that you and your loved ones can enjoy for generations to come.
I walk you through the process step by step via email which includes providing progress pictures as the painting materializes, reasonable alterations to the commissioned piece, Certificate of Authenticity and Bill of Sale once the Fine Art piece is complete.
