     As per the provincial government, grooming salons will be allowed to re-open as of June 2020 in all of Quebec. We are very excited to inform you that we will be reopening as of June 2nd!

   

   With our re-opening, we would like to communicate the changes happening at the salon and with our appointment booking process.

NEW PRICING

 

     After a year in business, we've ironed out some of the kinks in our pricing model in order to make the business sustainable. Coupled with all the new sanitary procedures and equipment we must put in place due to the current pandemic, our prices have to be re-adjusted.

 

  Some of the changes include:

  • 10% to 20% price increase
  • Prices will no longer include taxes
  • Service restructuring(ex: extras such as tooth                brushing and nail filing will be an extra charge)

 

    Please take the time to familiarize yourself with this new pricing model before requesting an appointment.

 

  New pricing will apply for ALL clients, with no exceptions.

BOOKING APPOINTMENTS

 

   WHAT'S NEW? A credit card will now be required on your file in order to book an appointment. This is to secure your appointment, and protect the salon against last minute cancellations and no shows. Your card will NOT be charged unless we need to charge you a cancellation or no show fee as per our cancellation policy. This card will NOT be used for regular appointment payment. You can continue to pay in person at each appointment. 

*ALL fees processed and card info safely stored and encrypted by ©STRIPE Canada. Toilettage Spaw Melanie inc., its owner and employees will not have direct access to your card information.

APPOINTMENT PROCEDURES

 

   The procedure for drop off & pick of your pet will be very different in order to avoid cross-contamination, and lower the risk of spreading COVID-19.

   Clients will be given the option to drop off and pick up their pet outside the building. We will not be touching your pets collar, harness or leash. We will use our own slip leads to collect your pet. Once our slip lead is secured, we will ask you to please remove your pets collar, harness and  any apparel on them.

   If you wish to enter the building for drop off/pick up or to purchase an item in our store, you will be required to bring and wear a mask and sanitize your hands upon entering the building (hand sanitizer station will be available at the entrance).

   Our front door will be locked at all times, and clients must ring in order to gain access. One person will be allowed into the building at a time.

SANITARY MEASURES

 

   Our grooming salon has always had very high standards when it comes to equipment and environment sanitation. In fact, our standards already exceed those put forth by the CNESST in regards to COVID-19 prevention. We've decided to up our game anyway! Opening Hours

 

   Our salon & boutique hours have slightly changed. Here are the new opening hours:

 

 MONDAY............................... Closed

TUESDAY........................ 9am - 5pm

WEDNESDAY...................9am - 8pm

THURSDAY..................... 9am - 8pm

FRIDAY............................ 9am - 5pm

SATURDAY.................... 10am - 5pm

SUNDAY ................................Closed

When and how can you book an appointment?

Clients who had an appointment cancelled due to COVID-19

 

   Clients who had appointments cancelled in March, April or May due to COVID-19 will be contacted by phone on Monday, May 25th and Tuesday, May 26th to reschedule their appointments. Clients will be contacted in the order in which their appointments were scheduled. If we cannot get in touch with you on either of those days, please understand that we must proceed with new appointment bookings, so you will lose your priority, and will need to book your appointment online.

Current Clients who did not have an appointment scheduled.

 

   Our online booking will be open to all current clients of the salon as of Wednesday, May 27th at 10am. We are requesting that all clients use the online booking system in order to securely store your credit card information in your file.

 

   For clients who still prefer to book their appointments over the phone, you will be able to leave a message for us by calling the salon, as of May 27th. We will call you back before June 2nd to book your appointment. Your credit card information will still be required.

   

   PLEASE NOTE, you will get a much sooner appointment if you use the online booking system.
