Hey yo!
I'm popping' into your inboxes a bit earlier this week to announce that the Kickstarter for The After Death Book Two is officially LIVE! I hit the launch button earlier this morning and since then it's raise over $500-which is 13% closer to the funding goal! While I'm super stoked, we still have a long way to go.
Even though this is my 2nd After Death book to launch via Kickstarter, that doesn't mean it comes without a strong case of imposter syndrome. I wonder if people will be interested in Book Two. What if they didn't like book one, they aren't going to show up for book two. What if people felt obligated to fund the first one? What if people only pledged out of pity? Don't laugh, this is Grade A artist insecurity talking here!
Even with all of that bonkers self talk, I'm still confident we can get this book funded! I wouldn't even launch it if I didn't think we had a chance. I'm not kidding myself, I don't expect the book to get funded in a day. I don't even expect it to get funded in a week. And yet, if it does do well early on, it'll ping over on Kickstarter's radar. When it does that, they'll flag it as a "project we love" and then it'll start gaining traction via their algorithm which will keep the metaphorical snow ball rolling downhill.
So-if you plan on pledging-consider doing so early on. It'll help signal to both Kickstarter and other interested parties that this is project worth investing in!

In this weekend's newsletter I'll include some promotional graphics that I encourage you guys to swipe and use to help spread the word.
I think that's it for now! Thanks for subscribing to my newsletter list and being fans of my work. I'll be back this Sunday with more updates and the regular newsletter. Talk to you then!
