Museum Donation & Client Intake Form

Museum Gift

We want to acknowledge this generous gift from Edward Jones, an award-winning, couture seamstress in London. He donated this Pierre Cardin "Spring Dress" sewing pattern, published by the Daily Express, to the Couture Pattern Museum. This is a little-known pattern publisher, and these examples are very rare. While we don't know the precise year of publication, we estimate that this was published in the 1950's. To see other examples of Daily Express publications, go to the Couture Pattern Museum database archives, and use the drop down menu to view them. We would like to thank Edward for his generous addition to the Couture Pattern Museum.

Search by Pattern Company & New Client Intake Form

We added a new functionality to the database. You are now able to search by pattern company. There is a new drop down in the database. Don't forget to clear your filters to begin a new search. The database is automatically programmed to initially scroll through Vogue Patterns.

Another announcement: there is a New Client Intake Form under the Atelier section on the website. You can use this form to begin the process of ordering a made-to-measure couture garment created for you by the Atelier.
