Problems can seem so big. They can consume our thoughts, impact our mood, ruin our day, cause stress on our bodies, and can destroy our faith. If we focus on our problems, our problems are magnified and our perspective is changed.
When is the last time you went somewhere quiet and looked at the stars on a clear night? Did you know that the closest star to earth (besides the sun) is about 25 trillion miles away? And if you were to drive to that star going 60 mph, it would take over 47 million years to get there without stopping. And that's just one star! The Lord calls out the stars like an army, and He knows each one by name. Not one of them are missing, yet man can only make their best guess at the number.
We can look at creation and see a glimpse of our amazing Creator. A loving, all-knowing, all-powerful God who is not the cause of your problems but the solution. He put you on this earth with a purpose and only has good in store for you. If God's promises are not coming to pass in your life, perhaps your perspective needs to change. Look at things the way God sees them, and quit placing all your attention on your problems. Open God's Word, renew your mind, and allow Him to change your perspective.
