NATIONAL CONFERENCE 2018

THE GROWING EDGE

NURSERY & GARDEN INDUSTRY

National Conference
19 - 21 February 2018

Wrest Point, Hobart Tasmania

Every two years a national Nursery & Garden Industry Conference is held in an Australian capital city and over the past 30 years
it has attracted an average of 250 delegates
- growers, retailers, suppliers and stakeholders.

In 2018 it heads to our home state - Tasmania.

NGIT Committee members; Joe Kerin, Lauren Chandler
and Mark Vander Staay have been working with fellow Australian state members and NGIA staff to create a conference and
exhibition of a high standard already set in previous years.

This is our chance to sell Tasmania to the rest of Australia,
a chance for all members to support and take advantage of this great opportunity which is taking place in your own state.

Check out the conference program offered for members
and non-members via the ngia website

Registrations are now open with Early Bird Registration
closing on 30th November 2017.

NGIT 2017 Christmas Functions

Last year NGIT ran two Christmas Functions - one in the North and one in the South. These functions gave our members the opportunity to meet up with fellow people
from their industry in a fun and friendly atmosphere.

Both functions were hosted at local bowls clubs and saw teams competing
in a game of bowls before a traditional Christmas feast.

We are hoping for support from you all to run similar events this year
towards the end of November - before the silly season really starts.

So we are asking all our members to let us know if they would like to attend a
similar event to celebrate another year in the nursery business.
