Another faded photo from the Moynahan family archives:
My father in his NROTC uniform, with his father and two younger brothers while on a visit home from Villanova University. He would go on to serve in the Marine Corps, while his brother John would serve in the Navy.

I extend my heartfelt thanks to all those who have served and to those who currently serve.

Please offer a prayer for those who "gave the last true measure of valor" and their families.
You are not forgotten.

Goose Island Beer Co.

Are you familiar with Goose Island Beer Company, "Chicago's Beer"? This weekend (cold and raining here in New York), Eddie and I enjoyed a pizza while sharing a bottle of Goose Island's Original Bourbon Barrel Aged Imperial Stout. (It must be shared: the ABV is a whopping 15.2%!) This is a rich, well-rounded stout with a pronounced aroma that proudly asserts its bourbon street-cred. Goose Island was the first to age stout in bourbon barrels, a practice that has since been widely replicated.  Their ingenuity revolutionized the industry. Let it inspire you to innovate!
