Colorado was well-represented with performances at the National Orchestra Festival and many chapter attendees. It was a fantastic conference! Please consider joining us in Orlando, Florida in March 2020 for the next national conference. Colorado ASTA Seeks New Webmaster and President-Elect

There are a few anticipated openings on the Colorado ASTA board. Please consider getting involved! Being on the board is a great way to share your ideas and contribute to string education in the state of Colorado.

The webmaster's responsibilities include maintaining the Colorado ASTA website and designing, editing, and distributing the monthly newsletters. This position requires a moderate level of comfort with technology, though the new webmaster will be trained on how to use the technology currently in place prior to taking over.

The president-elect is responsible for attending all board meetings and assisting the president as needed. This person also oversees the planning of Colorado ASTA's summer conference. The new president-elect will take office following CMEA 2020, and this is a six-year commitment (2 years as president-elect, 2 years as president, and 2 years as past-president). Online voting for president-elect will take place from mid-December through mid-January.

Please contact Alison Mayes at alisonmayes523@gmail.com if you are interested in either of these positions.
