Exciting Updates and Future Plans at the Couture Pattern Museum!

Exciting Donations from Founding Members

We are delighted to share some wonderful news with you. Kai, a Founding Member from London, has generously donated a spectacular 1950s Balmain pattern to the Couture Pattern Museum. This valuable addition has been meticulously digitized and integrated into our growing digital database, ensuring its preservation for generations to come.

Kai's contribution perfectly aligns with our collection's focus on the Golden Age of Couture. Balmain, recognized as one of the three haute couture giants of that era alongside Dior and Fath, represents a pinnacle of artistic excellence. This pattern holds a special place in our collection, showcasing the craftsmanship and elegance of that remarkable time.

We extend our deepest appreciation to Kai for his extraordinary generosity in supporting our mission to preserve and share the captivating and specialized history of this distinct facet of haute couture.

Even More Donations!

Wait, there's more! Tammy McMillan, another valued Founding Member from Spanish Fort, AL, has generously donated a collection of designer patterns she has cherished for years. We are truly honored that Tammy chose to entrust these patterns to the Couture Pattern Museum.

Tammy's donation includes a range of patterns from designers such as Robert Burton, Issey Miyake, and Danny Noble.

These patterns add a modern dimension to our collection. As we continue to build our database, the community will begin to experience the diverse and visionary talent within the world of fashion.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to Tammy for her contribution, which plays a crucial role in expanding and enriching our museum's offerings.

Stay tuned for more updates as we progress with the digitization process and further enhance our collection at the Couture Pattern Museum.
