Online Prize Giving and Race Restrospective - On Now

Heading into winter we've decided to indulge in some summer nostalgia and reprise the stories and pictures of the race which went ahead against the odds.

It was such a disappointment our traditional prize giving dinner had to be cancelled this year, so in the prevailing spirit of digital sharing we are using our Facebook page to celebrate the achievements of all the teams and give them their trophies virtually.

We've been busy posting stories, race logs, photos and videos team by team, and there is plenty more to come.

You can see it all using the link below, and you should be able to see it even if you don't normally use Facebook.

Can you Help?

The race committee is, of course, busy planning for next year, but a few extra hands are now needed. Can you help?

Also in the digital spirit of the times, committee meetings have now largely moved onto Zoom. Who'd have thought it!

As a result, committee members no longer need to live in Barmouth, which opens up the opportunity to get involved in our great race!

There are a few positions to fill and anyone who feels they could contribute should email Wendy Ponsford on secretary@threepeaksyachtrace.co.uk

Give Yourself the Gift of Adventure for Christmas

It is never too early to enter and start training, and if you leave it until after Christmas the months quickly pass by.

We already have several entries (and one for 2023!) and there have been encouraging inquiries from schools, naval colleges and company teams looking to get involved.

So, it's looking good for 2022, when the race start will be July 9th.

We hope to see you there!

Yours in adventure,

The Three Peaks Yacht Race Crew
