Hey y'all!
Can you believe that it’s July already? We’re officially in chapter 7 of 2020. As the year progresses things seem to get stranger and more uncertain. However, God is still in control, just like He was before all of this transpired. Although things will never be like they used to be, I think that the best is still ahead of us. I believe that we are headed in a new direction, and God has great plans for us. He hasn't allowed us to come this far just to desert and abandon us. He's brought us this far because there's more that He wants us to explore, obtain, and discover.
Some scripture
In the days when the judges ruled, there was a famine in the land. So a man from Bethlehem in Judah, together with his wife and two sons, went to live for a while in the country of Moab. The man’s name was Elimelek, his wife’s name was Naomi, and the names of his two sons were Mahlon and Kilion. They were Ephrathites from Bethlehem, Judah. And they went to Moab and lived there. Now Elimelek, Naomi’s husband, died, and she was left with her two sons. They married Moabite women, one named Orpah and the other Ruth. After they had lived there about ten years, both Mahlon and Kilion also died, and Naomi was left without her two sons and her husband.
- Ruth 1:1-5
Some encouragement
Naomi had plans and stability; however, things became unclear when she lost her husband, children, and had to move back to her hometown. I imagine she felt confused and upset; however, God used that new season of her life to propel and promote her. Although it appeared as if her life was over, and she had nothing left; God had more in store for her! So don't get weary or discouraged, because God wants to take you in a new direction!
