March more like meowch....

It's a cat pun about the photo below.

You get me.

Hey Dangerfiends!

First and Forever is weeks away! The cover reveal and pre-sale will kick off on April 5 (the cover is so gorgeous, I can't wait for you to see it.)

and the release will be May 4. I can't wait to make a bunch of May the fourth be with you jokes while promoting my sweet, slutty summer romance!!

If F&F isn't already on your Goodreads TBR go put it on now!

I spent last week completing what I call 'final edits.' This is reading my entire 80,000+ word manuscript out loud, finally allowing myself to obsess over every sentence and the number of grinning, blushing, and laughing done by all involved. It's a heady, unrushable time I expect to last two days and actually takes five. Five days (and nights) in which I stay permanently hunched over my laptop, eating white bread and jam and drinking whatever was nearby (pee breaks are still breaks) until I was done. And while any author will tell you finishing your edits is the beginning of the publishing process (beta reads! Promotion! Blurbs! Graphics! Oh my!) I'm so glad to be here. I actually went to a 90-minute yoga class yesterday and my spine unclenched like a chain of popping pearls. I feel healthy and excited and ready to announce some very cool things, so stay tuned.

ALSO, also, If you're a new subscriber,  here from Forbidden romance gang, WELCOME!!! Here's a free book, one of my bestsellers Locked Box! Tessa Bailey described it as "insanely hot" just FYI...

First and Forever Excerpt

Eden, my heroine has a special kink. I had so much fun researching this scene. I hope you enjoy the taste...

Eden moved toward the center of the room. As she sat, Willow—Doctor Williams—studied her with faint interest. His gaze lingered on her breasts and he glanced away, his fingers knotting together. “Would you like a glass of water, Miss Cartwright?”

God, that accent. It made Eden want to call off this charade and pull his face between her legs. She tried some showmanship of her own. Clearing her throat, she adopted her mother's cut-glass English accent. “No, thank you.”

A faint smile creased Willow’s lips. “Very well. Try to relax. This isn’t an interrogation. I’m here to take care of you.”

Eden’s mouth went dry. She wished she’d accepted the glass of water.

The doctor paced the floorboards, hands behind his back. “Your father tells me you’re having trouble at home.”

“I…I suppose so.”

“What kind of trouble, Miss Cartwright?”

She leaned back in what she was now positive was a massage chair. “I don’t know, Doctor. I find it hard to concentrate. I sleep lightly and I’m distracted all the time.”

Willow strode to the edge of his desk and sat on the corner. His coat opened to reveal a fitted shirt, tight enough that Eden could see his pecs.

“Are you lightheaded?” he asked.

“Occasionally.”

“Moody?”

Eden didn’t answer. Yes. Her father thought she was moody. Everyone in her family had thought she was moody, because she had more than one mood.

“Lass?” Doctor Williams’ voice was edged with impatience. God this motherfucker could act.

“I suppose I am moody,” she offered.

“Do you cry often?”

Eden hadn’t cried for years, but that probably wasn’t in keeping with her character. “Almost every night.”

He nodded curtly. “Your father is also… concerned that you aren’t expressing any interest in young men coming to visit you.”

He said it straight-faced, without so much as a gleam in his eyes, but Eden’s cheeks burned with the realisation that she and Willow were really, actually playing doctor.

“I-I don’t know how I’m supposed to be men,” she told him.

“A lot of women just enjoy being looked at.”

Eden gazed out of the nearby window, ignoring the modern buildings, the airplane she could see passing over the city.

“Do you enjoy being looked at, Miss Cartwright?”

First and Forever is scheduled for release on May 4th. If you haven't read the first books in the series you should!

Books of March!

Girl Walks Out of A Bar by Lisa L Smith. Solid. VERY early 2000s. I both understand and am deeply confused by (and kinda amused about) the fact Lisa Smith had frequent weekend-long coke and alcohol binges where she sat alone in her apartment writing proposals for her law job. Like, holy shit, I thought I was type A. I couldn't write a sentence drunk or hungover. That woman really wanted to work.

A Wrinkle In Time by Madeleine L'Engle. I feel like a real knob for saying this but I just didn't get into this book. I love plenty of children and YA novels and this one just didn't speak to me. There were interesting bits and fun parts, but I just didn't connect with the story

The Nasty Bits by Anthony Bourdain. I'm not in an emotional place where I can talk about Anthony Bourdain right now :(

Kink Camp by Adriane Anders. Fucking lovely.

Control Freak by Brianna Hale. Omg hot nordic daddy. And a sensitive exploration of eating disorders too.

Crosstown Crush by Cara McKenna. An oldie but a goodie, though not the same as I remembered it. Some books just seem to do that, huh?

Thanks for reading! Hit me up any time on Instagram, Tiktok or Facebook, I love talking to readers and in general.

Fun Fact: The most oysters I've ever eaten in one sitting is eighteen oysters. I would be willing to see if this can be topped. And I'm not a fan of competitive eating, I just really, really love oysters.
