If your email inbox is like mine, it is full of news alerts and email updates from retailers, restaurants and companies updating you on their latest COVID response.
This email is designed to help you lead yourself and others, right now.
These are uncertain, quickly changing times and finding resources that can help us navigate in a healthy way can be overwhelming. To support you, I pulled together a few resources to help you navigate your new normal and remain sane(ish).
First, go to Wirecutter (a product of The New York Times). They pulled together some of the best articles on the web regarding almost everything you could ever face in this new world order. From how to disinfect your phone safely to using Zoom like a pro to staying sane when working from home - with or without kids.
Then, check out The Lily, one of my favorite email newsletters written by women for women (and also applies to men!). They pulled together materials you can use to COPE BETTER in this crazy-making, unknown, uncertain time. From how to stay calm to how to stay healthy to how to stay connected to how to help others - great tips and tricks and links abound!
WE HAVE FACED HARD TIMES BEFORE.
The days, months and years after 9/11 were so very terrifying and challenging.
The housing crisis and recession of 2008/2009 was painful and challenging.
The current times are scary and challenging.
AND we can do this. Leaders do hard things. YOU can do this.
#StayHome. #FlattenTheCurve. Be safe. Be kind. Be well. And, if I can help you lead yourself and others during this time, reach out. (Really - REACH OUT)You are not alone.

PS: I was talking to a gifted therapist friend earlier this week. She said clients are citing social media as source of great distress - not comfort - during this time. It is a very good idea to set limits around your social media use. And - I am begging everyone I know - please check the sources on everything you read and share!
