1. What is your favourite thing about CrossFit Ashlar?
The community! The member's and coaches are the best! Have met some great people! Stepping foot in the gym just turns my mood around if I'm having a bad day. My face may not show it, but inside, I'm happy... lol.
2. What is your favourite post workout meal?
Whatever my husband has made when I get home...lol. I'm the baker, he's the cook...usually it's some sort of protein, salad (my specialty) and some veggies. On the weekends after a morning workout, it's toast with peanut butter/Greek yogurt with protein powder or a protein bar and another coffee.
3. Which accomplishments are you most proud of?
I'd like to say everything, because if you told me eight years ago, I'd be doing any of these CrossFit movements, I would've thought you were crazy! (I was a Zumba queen previously, lol). But, if I had to pick one thing, it would be pullups. That was one of my first goals when I joined. It took a while, but practicing and taking time outside of class and all the tips/help from the coaches really helped!
4. What is your next goal?
CrossFit Games 2052.... haha, it's a running joke. Seriously, I would love to get a muscle up...gotta dream big!
5. What is your favourite CrossFit movement?
Power cleans!
