Oh, how the wacky up-and-down April weather is somehow giving way to beautiful flowers and blossoming trees!
It's a pollen fest around here, too. My patio furniture is covered in green dust and the neighborhood streets are full of those fuzzy catkin (oak flowers) clumping up along the curbs.
I keep looking up at the blossoms to focus on the beauty - - - not the nuisances - - - that come along with it.
Imagine how many of our blemishes the Lord overlooks to love us just as we are!
"Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as elaborate hairstyles and the wearing of gold jewelry or fine clothes. Rather, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God's sight." 1 Peter 3:3-4
