Despite Covid, it's good to see love is still in the air!

This month has seen an encouraging influx of honeymoon enquiries for 2021 and 2022, and suggests that lockdown and enforced ‘together time’ hasn’t proved detrimental to all budding romances across the UK.

Popular requests have been for Hawaii, the Maldives and French Polynesia, reflecting a desire for couples to get away from it all completely and to self-isolate on their terms and in more luxurious surroundings.

Who knows what the forthcoming month will bring to the travel industry?

There is a strong desire and need for many to get away, but increasingly tough entry regulations and quarantine restrictions are making it hard for even the most resilient of travellers.

Positivity is still king in this travel-addict’s household and I will continue to focus on plans for 2021 and 2022 – we all need something to look forward to, after all...

Client Blog: Ian & Steph's special trip to Schloss Elmau Luxury Spa in Germany

The awe-inspiring Hotel Schloss Elmau was recently featured on the BBC’s Life Beyond the Lobby television series and was viewed with great anticipation by my client Ian, who had booked it as a surprise trip for his wife’s birthday.

Plans were put in place a year ago but as the departure date approached the trip hung in the balance after the airline cancelled their return flights twice. Thankfully the travel corridor with Germany remained in place, the hotel was safely open and I was able to wave a cheerful auf wiedersehen to my first clients to depart the UK since the end of March. Phew!
