Thanks to those who are waiting to schedule and are utilizing TeleRehab, we have been responsibly serving our Urgent Care patients in the clinic over the past several weeks.
We are so grateful for 2 generous community members that donated advanced PPE (N95 Respirator Masks) to combine with other "gear". These supplies are being stretched to *hopefully* last until general re-ordering is available. We also received beautiful donated homemade cloth masks for our patients to use during their PT visit if they do not have one of their own.
It's not pretty, but we feel strongly about exceeding safety recommendations to reduce COVID-19 risk exposure to our provider, patients and building neighbors.
That being said, there is no 100% guarantee risk free interaction so continue to use your own judgement when seeking care.
Thank you so much for your patience and understanding.
Other measures being taken:
- Requiring patients to attend treatments ALONE while wearing a MASK
- True HEPA Air Filtration
- Eucalyptus Globulus EO with Nebulizing Diffuser (see article below)
- If possible, use the back parking lot stairs to the 3rd Floor for direct access
- Do not arrive early to eliminate waiting room exposure
- Staggered treatment times to limit exposure
- Continuing to serve appropriate patients via TeleRehab
- Use typical good sense before scheduling and coming to your visit
- Meticulous CDC compliant disinfection between patients
