Street Dog Coalition needs your help!

Our own Dr. Hilary Wheeler (pictured) is the lead for the Bay Area Chapter of Street Dog Coalition (SDC). Pop up clinics are held at various locations (typically outdoors) on a monthly basis, providing free essential veterinary services to pets of people living with or at an increased risk of homelessness.

The local team is in need of volunteers, including veterinarians, veterinary technicians and assistants, to help us meet the needs of our community.

The SDC is also looking to form collaborative partnerships with area veterinary clinics/hospitals willing to occasionally provide services at an agreed upon discount for patients needing care beyond what we are able to offer in the field. Examples include anesthetic dentistry, mass removals, radiographs, etc. Participating clinics would be paid directly by The Street Dog Coalition.

More information can be found at www.thestreetdogcoalition.org (Bay Area team). Please contact Dr. Wheeler at drhwheeler@thestreetdogcoalition.org with any questions.
