5th Annual Mike Adler Memorial Golf Outing a Success for BGC Joliet The 5th Annual Mike Adler Memorial Golf Outing was held on Sunday, September 27 and it was a tremendous success for the Boys & Girls Club of Joliet. The legacy and influence of Mike Adler remains timeless and unremitting, and as a result, valuable monetary funds were raised for the Club, with a record setting amount of over $30,000! We once again gathered together to celebrate Mike's life and as result, raised critical monetary support for the Boys & Girls Club of Joliet! A heartfelt thank you to Joanne Adler and the entire Adler Family, including, Board President, Amanda Bornhofen Moretti, Board Member, Joe Adler, Chris Adler, and Board Vice-President, Eric Perez! BGC Joliet First Floor Renovation Progress We have been making great progress on the renovation of our first floor game room, tech center, movie room, and offices from the storm damages! Walls have been repaired and painted and that portion of the project has been officially completed! Next up.....flooring! We cannot wait to show off the completed project, stay tuned! BGC Joliet Partners with U of I Extension/4H to provide Healthy Habits We are super excited to be partnering with our wonderful friends at University of Illinois Extension - Grundy, Kankakee, and Will to put on a Healthy Habits Program, as part of our 2020 Alternative Fall Session! This program involves a hands on Healthy Habit kit, which will be distributed to participating youth, as well as weekly guided instruction via Zoom! The Healthy Habits program will be launching in early October. Illini Care & BGC IL Provide Backpack Donation to BGC Joliet We would like to send out a very special thank you to our friends at IlliniCare Health for proving the Boys & Girls Club of Joliet with brand new backpacks filled with supplies, which was distributed to our youth during our Alternative Fall Session launch. This donation was made possible though a partnership with BGC Illinois and IlliniCare Health for our Teen Reach program! This donation was also hand delivered to our location by BGC Illinois Director, Bryan Soady. Thank you, Bryan! |

Crane Composites Provides Monetary Gift to BGC Joliet The Boys & Girls Club of Joliet is absolutely blessed to receive a donation in the amount of $2,000 from the Crane Fund for Widows and Children thanks to our friends and partners at Crane Composites! Executive Director, Kahlil Diab, accepted the check from the President of Crane Composites and the leadership team at the facility in Channahon. Buffalo Wild Wings October Fundraiser to Benefit BGC Joliet We’re ALL STARS thanks to Buffalo Wild Wings! Through this long standing partnership, our kids have had the chance to play team sports like soccer and basketball at no charge and with complimentary uniforms!
