New information from our friends regarding the What's New?

 

If your research interest is in the area of Bronchoscopy and Interventional Pulmonology or you would like to learn more about it you can submit abstracts for oral and posters nursing sessions for the 7th European Congress for Bronchoscopy and Interventional Pulmonology that will be held in Madrid, Spain from 11 to 13 May 2023. 

 

Our friend Susana Alvarez Lopez is putting in a huge effort, therefore I what to thank her for it, as this is the first time that nurse will have their own sessions. All lectures and sessions will be in the English language. Just to make this more interesting for you, two prizes of 600 and 300 euros will be awarded for the first and second-best abstract on the Topic: Nursing communication.

Another interesting event is the area of Thoracic Oncology 

If your research interest is in the area of Thoracic Oncology or you would like to hear more about it, Caitlin Broderick & Mary Duffy Co-Chairs, ITONF and I on behalf of ICRN  are inviting you to register for free for International Thoracic Oncology Nurses Forum, ITONF webinar, that will be held on Tuesday 4 April 2023 and we'd love if you could all join us virtually.

 
Webinar program, designed by the ITONF Educational Subcommittee, is aimed at all Nurses working in thoracic oncology. It will deliver a quick (duration 1 & 1/4 hours) accessible & informative update, on inequities in the delivery of thoracic oncology care, covering three important aspects:

1) Inequities in Lung Cancer Care from a Croatian Perspective, presented by Andreja Šajnić, Chair of the International Coalition of Respiratory Nurses, and based in Croatia
2) Inequities in Lung Cancer Care from an Inner City USA Perspective, presented by Faith Mutale, from Philadelphia, USA
3) Improving Access to Equitable Cancer Care in Country Western Australia, presented by Christine Henneker & Deborah McAdam, from Country Western Australia.
