Sole Buddies

Welcome to the September edition of the

Sole Buddies newsletter!

Holiday! Holiday! Holiday! During the month of July, we all took a well awaited month off to visit our extended family back in the UK. After not seeing them for 4 years we certainly made up for it and packed so much in. Since being back my batteries are now recharged and I'm ready to support my Reflexology and Massage client's.

News: On15th October 2022, from 3 - 7pm I will be @ the Twilight Spring Fair offering Corporate Chair Massages @ $15 for 10mins. The fair is being organised by Woy Woy South Public-School P&C and is open to the local community. There will be entertainment for both the young and young at heart with a range of activities, plus other local small business owners and a selection of amazing food trucks. Please come along, share with friends, and show your support.

 Much love x

Self Help Tip: Coping with Stress.

This information is only intended to use on yourself.

Stress can either be and have a negative or positive effect on the body. So, it's very important as to how we manage that extra stress. Finding positive ways to deal with stress is very important, so that it doesn't take control of your life.

Here are a few practical ways that you can try especially for those that find themselves working from home.

  • Get more physical activity - go for a run, walk, or simply just dance around the room.

  • Practice deep breathing - something that can be done at any time throughout the day. Taking a deep breath, breathe in slowly for a count of 5 in through the nose, hold for 5 seconds then slowly breath out through the mouth. Repeating up to 5 times.

  • Learn to say 'NO'. Establish some boundaries, especially if you find that you are trying to take on too much.

  • Meditation - Is a great way to just stop what you're doing and just be (in your own thoughts). A few great apps you could try are Headspace and Smiling Mind.

  • Start each day with a positive affirmation to counter the negative. Such as: With every air that I exhale, I release the tension or every passing day, I feel more relaxed and calmer.
