February's Webinar

This month we welcome back one of our speakers from our 2023 summit, Kathryn Cheng. Kathryn is currently pursing a PhD in Oceanography and Climate at Columbia University after earning her HH.Bs. in Geology at University of Toronto. Kathryn's webinar is on Assessing Volcanism During the SPICE Event Using Mercury Stable Isotopes. The webinar is on Thursday February 22 at 1 pm PST/4 pm EST.

WGC at AME RoundUp 2024

WGC held a meetup at where we discussed challenges, progress, and potential solutions for field wok by women in the geosciences. The discussion also included equity, diversity and inclusion and how to address "gaps" in a woman's career due to parental leave and other family related responsibilities.
